As you may have noticed, the admin team has decided to decorate the wiki for Halloween. We are still under construction and are hopefully going to upload a temporary new background, but for now, tell us what you think! Alright everybody, the voting/nomination board for Featured User has been posted here!
Clearly there has been some confusion around it, from both people not reading the rules as well as just from not really understanding how it works. When you want to nominate a user for Featured User, all you do is press the 'Nominate a User' button. After you press that, it will take you to the editor. The nomination already has a pre-determined layout. The top should say "Nominated thing <!-- add links with [[name of page|text to display]] -->". Replace that with the username of the user that you want to nominate. Below that top spot is "Nominated by (whoever nominated it). <!-- in links if necessary -->". Simply replace "(whoever nominated it)" with YOUR username. After that, do not touch anything else. Simply press the 'Submit' button and your nomination will be added to the bottom of the Featured User page.
As for voting- you can vote for somebody to win, or you can vote AGAINST somebody winning. To vote for either, simply write ~~~~ on the bulletin under 'Support' or 'Against', your choice. Make sure you supply a reason for your vote. When voting against somebody, it is not the place to be negative or rude, simply the place to say "No, I don't want this person to win because they're too new" or "I don't want this person to win because I think <blah blah blah> should win.". Any negative votes will be removed and you will receive a warning.
Aside from that, PLEASE make sure that you read the rules on the page. Now, as to conclude this post, I bid you adieu!
Hello! I'm Rain, and I'm representing Wikia's Vanguard team. We're users who volunteer to help communities adopt to new technologies and features, like content portability. We've identified your community as a high priority for introducing the Portable Infobox tool, which has a lot of benefits for your community. Rather than get into all of the metrics and numbers (though I can present some of those if you're interested), I'll keep it simple. I'd like upgrade the Infobox templates themselves so that they can be accessible on any current and future platform. Maintaining them if you want to make changes should be very simple.
I'm going to add some Drafts of Infoboxes in Special:Insights/nonportableinfoboxes, which you can modify or approve early if you'd like. There are guides and resources on the Portability Hub for the structure and styles that can help you modify them. I've put the styling here. Everything should work properly as set up, so if we don't hear back from you, we'll assume there were no problems and will come back and approve the work as-is on or after July 8.

So, I realized we didn't have any articles for the merchandise/products of Zootopia. So, I took the liberty to scavenge images and information of the Disney website and make our first Zootopia Merchandise article, the Vinylmation Zootopia Series article!
Hope you are all enjoying the Zootopia Wiki! Alot of hard work has been put into making it look the way it does. The wiki admin team has put together a set of rules and quidelines to help ensure that this wiki continues to be the family friendly place as it has previously been.
