- “Stab me straight into the heart!”
- ―The pen's catchphrase
The Anti-Venom Pen[1] is an autoinjector filled with antivenom that appears in Zootopia 2. It belongs to Gary De'Snake. He uses it in case his venomous fangs accidentally stabs someone.
Description[]
The pen is blue and vaguely resembles Gary. It "speaks" with an automated voice.
Role in the Film[]
Gary brings the pen with him when he travels to Zootopia, as he always does incase there's an accident with his fang. Which there is. When trying to escape from the Lynxleys, he's flown around the room and crashes into Chief Bogo. His fang accidentally nicks him, and he falls unconscious. Gary says he can heal him with Antivenom, but before he can use it, the Lynxleys accuse him of attempted murder, and for Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde being accomplices forcing them to flee. The paramedics have to use their own antivenom to cure him. Gary later uses it to save Judy after she is afflicted with Gary's venom by Pawbert. He also uses it off-screen to cure Nibbles Maplestick, who Pawbert also had attacked. Gary almost didn't get the chance to use it though, as Pawbert snatched it to leave both him and Judy to die. However, when Pawbert attempts to murder Nick with his fang shaped-switchblade, Gary shouts down from the balcony below to throw the him the pen. He does, and the action nearly costs him his own life.
Trivia[]
- The voice for the pen is provided by Auliʻi Cravalho, who voices Moana in the Disney movie franchise of the same name.
