I think Taming Parties and Taming Collars should have made it to the final movie.
What's on your mind?

General Discussion
In the sequel, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde sneak through the aquarium filled with koi fish and a building where Victoria's taming party is taking place.
They watch as Koslov presents Victoria with her tame collar and together they do the speech that welcomes Victoria into the Zootopia community. Despite Victoria being excited to receive her collar and becoming a "big spectacled crocodile", Koslov hesitates to put it on at first, but finally snaps the collar on her neck with a touch of sadness.
Victoria is overjoyed and turns to face the crowd's praising as green balloons drop. Victoria is getting more and more excited even as her host tries to warn her and she ends up being shocked by her tame collar. With a hurt look on Koslov's face, Victoria turns to look at Koslov and runs to embrace her host (him).
The new animals in the taming party are crocodiles, peacocks, vultures, and frogs instead of polar bears.

During development of Zootopia, the team supposedly reached out to people in the Furry Fandom, and viral video making Zach King got a minor cameo in the final movie... Are we hoping for more of that kind of interaction in Z2? Minor not-quite-celebrity cameos and behind-the-scenes fandom interactions?
Do you think they'll bring back the Zootopia website closer to the sequel's release? I never got to enjoy that the first time around.
Also, when do you think they'll start to actually promote the movie?

Hello! I am brand new! :3 I hope I enjoy it here
I know that in the movie trailer, it says that we never happened. How can that be? The animals could not have evolved that quickly without us intervening in some sort of way. I mean, come on! They developed human intelligence in the time-span of a few thousand years? Do you know how long it took us to gain that kind of intelligence? 10 million years!
Something must have happened to boost their evolution very VERY quickly. Something like a nuclear apocalypse/warfare, genetic experiment (or mutation) could have done that to them, because as far as I am concerned...
We did happen, but we probably all died and the animals haven't found our remains yet.
I think it is a bit valid.
Hey, I'm new to this wiki.
Anyway, this was a possible idea that could be an interesting sequel:
A Strange object from space is seen approaching the world, which lands on the shores off of Zootopia. It is revealed that it is a ship of some sort. At the authorities arrive to investigate, figures come out of it. It is when the residents of Zootopia see a species that has been never seen before: HOMO SAPIENS.
The rest of the film would probably go in the vein of the Planet of the Apes films, which is pretty much self-explanatory. It could be in development right now.
Hi all! I have an awesome update regarding the Unified Community Platform (UCP). As a reminder, the UCP is a new unified platform giving users the up-to-date MediaWiki experience including the latest features! More can be found here as a reminder.
In terms of new updates, Fandom staff posted three staff blogs:
- Unified Community Platform: The Vision, Purpose, and Process - This update provides a clearer idea as to the end goals of the platform. This includes mobile editing, latest features, customization options - and more! Mobile editing will be an especially popular addition, given the rising number of mobile users across Fandom.
- Creating new wikis on the Unified Community Platform - Fandom is now allowing users to create new communities on the UCP! Users will be able to get a first look at the new platform. The wiki creation process will also aim to prevent duplicate wikis being created, allowing for users to contribute to active communities and be part of a Fandom project viewed by massive amounts of passionate fans!
- Profile and Message Wall on the Unified Community Platform - Profiles are getting an update on the UCP, with a cleaner design and also more freedom for users to express themselves. More fields have been added and you can now add a banner image like you can on Twitter and other social media sites. Message Wall is also receiving a lift, getting a cleaner design more in line with Discussions to keep things consistent.
What do you think of these updates? Comment below and feel free to leave questions on those blog posts so staff can respond! :) --Spongebob456 talk 17:12, March 18, 2020 (UTC)
In my recent update to the wiki's main page, I stated that I refused to add Jack Savage and Skye to "the poll". The poll I was referring to was not the Featured Article vote, and was actually the one that says "Which scrapped character do you wish made it into the movie?"
Apologies for the confusion this has caused to those who read the update; Jack Savage and Skye will definitely be candidates for Featured Article in the future.
Hey guys!
I'm here to let you know that staff have exciting plans for the future of video on Fandom, including the future of what was Featured Video (FV) and what is replacing it.
A replacement for FV, titled The Loop, is set to be a mini-show that will be different for each vertical, highlighting the latest news from topics relating to that vertical. The best bit? These videos will use wiki articles and will encourage users to visit the wikis featured in the videos to find out more.
As a new episode of The Loop will be released weekly, you will see a wide variety of wikis of featured so there is every chance yours will be featured too!
Please see the latest staff blog for more details and feel free to ask me any questions!
Secondly, staff posted a blog about Fandom in 2019 and the amazing things achieved! Here's to a great 2020. :)
Hi guys! Fandom staff posted two important and exciting blogs recently which I wanted to make you aware of!
- Global taxonomy
The title sounds really fancy and complicated, but this boils down to Fandom recommending content you want to see. Fandom has received feedback from users who are receiving recommendations to visit certain wikis they are not interested in.
With this data driven approach, users on a wiki will receive recommendations for new communities to visit based on what typical readers of that subject are interested in. That way you can attract like-minded users to your community and you get to visit other wikis you are interested in!
Please do read the blog for more information. If you have any questions on this, please feel free to let me know!
- Templates and scripting
This Best Practices blog talks about what a lot of users have questions about - templates and JavaScript.
A key message on the blog is not to do overdo the templates and JavaScript on a wiki as that can slow the wiki down and make the experience not so good for users.
The blog goes into how you can effectively use templates and JavaScript and ways you can make the user experience better. For example, it is really recommended communities use user-friendly parameter names for templates so new users can edit the wiki article and contribute to the wiki.
The blog is packed with details so please do give it a read! Also feel free to ask me any questions.
Thanks guys!
Obligatory greetings, compatriots.
TL,DR: Skip to the italicized text.
I write to ask if any of you folks out there have any in-depth knowledge about the deeper nuances of the "Random Page" button in the "Explore" drop-down.
Why? Well, often when I'm searching for little edits to make, I use and abuse that button in the hopes I'll find an obscure page that needs a spruce up. Alas, it seems to cycle through a small selection 90% of the time. This 'selection' does seem to change over time but... It's a supposed to be random.
Now I do understand, that, theoretically speaking, one might hit the button one hundred times and purely by means of chance (chaos theory, whatever you want to call it) land on the same page every single time (And yes, yes I know that with 860 pages the chances of that happening [86,000:1] is exponentially smaller than landing 100 sixes out of 100 on a single die [600:1]).
My bottom line here is that the "Random Page" button seems to use some sort of algorithm as opposed to true random number generation not supplemented by additional data.
Thoughts?
P.S. If my math is wrong feel free to correct me.
Yes, you read the title correctly. I'm going to talk about bathing. I wanted to do a blog for this but it seemed a little unnescessary and with it being so close to Saturday I didn't want to take the spotlight away from this week's Z.A.P. when it arrives.
Whenever ever I have a shower and wash my hair, it's always inconveniently damp for at least an hour unless I attack it with a blowdryer. On top of that, it goes poofy and becomes unruly and difficult to style. My only solace is when I choose to don a shower cap - but I can only put off a wash for a short time.
This got me thinking.
What if I were covered, head to toe, in fur? I remember whenever I had to wash my dog - drying him was a nightmare!
Just imagine you're a furry mammal. You are late for work. You can't leave without a shower. You dry off your coat with a towel. Alas! It is still very damp. No time to blow dry, so you get dressed and dash out the door. Whether your in the car, on the bus or using your legs, you can feel your clothes absorbing all the moisture from your coat like a wick.
Wearing damp clothes is gross and after a while, it starts to... Stink.
So, have you folks ever thought about this?
Regardless of what (or if) you celebrate, here's hoping that the rest of your winter season is happy and safe!~ <3
Have users here seen both movies. Try Everything, Shake It Off, and Doon't You Worry About A Thing are the songs I like the most from the two movies. I think their unity is equally fair, Bellwether just didn't like Zootopia's idea of justice. Nick Wilde's my favorite Zootopia character. It's the jungle I'd live in because it doesn't matter what order you are scientifically, food is an abundance in the beautiful jungle. I'm going to buy the soundtrakc of both of these two movies Sing and Zootopia.
This was written to help both confusion of mvoies characters and mistakes of movie pages alert, in case such a thing happens, because both of these fun movies have the characters dressed and living in the city / town.
