| Fru Fru's husband |
Fru Fru's husband is a male Arctic shrew and a minor character in Zootopia. A new member of the Big family, he is the husband of Fru Fru and the father of Judith.
Physical Appearance[]
Fru Fru's husband is a gray-furred shrew with brown eyes and a tuft of slicked-back hair. He is slightly stockier and more rotund than Fru Fru, as well as taller (minus Fru Fru's hair). He wears brown slacks and a pale mauve vest covering a white shirt with a red striped tie, which is covered by a pale gray jacket.
During his wedding, he wears a black tuxedo and pants, a white shirt, and a black bow tie.
Personality[]
Fru Fru's husband is shown to love her and enjoy her company, and he seems to be brave enough to marry her and maintain their relationship despite threats from her ruthless crime boss father, Mr. Big, who he is wary of. It is also hinted that he has problems with confined spaces and struggles to keep up with the energy of Fru Fru and her friends.
Role in the Film[]
Fru Fru's husband is seen briefly near the middle of the film getting married to her. During the wedding, he poses with Fru Fru and Mr. Big for a family photo. He participates in a dance with his wife shortly after.
Later, during the third act of the film, it is revealed that he and Fru Fru have conceived a daughter, whom Fru Fru is seen pregnant with.
Role in Zootopia+[]
The Real Rodents of Little Rodentia[]
Fru Fru's husband, who was her boyfriend at the time, proposes to her, and becomes overwhelmed by Fru Fru and her friends' subsequent screams of joy as they pull him in for a hug.
The Godfather of the Bride[]
Fru Fru and her husband listen to Mr. Big's story of how he emigrated to Zootopia and his speech about the importance of community. Mr. Big then tells him he's as good as iced if he ever hurts Fru Fru, which frightens him.
Trivia[]
- In the film, Fru Fru's husband appears with solid black, beady eyes like all the other shrews except Mr. Big and Fru Fru. In the Zootopia+ episode "The Real Rodents of Little Rodentia" he has cartoony eyes when he proposes to Fru Fru. Then in "Godfather of the Bride", he reverts back to solid black, beady eyes in the footage reused from the film, but when he is shown sitting at the head table with Fru Fru, his eyes become cartoony again just like his wife.
