George Lionel is a grouchy male lion and a minor character in Judy Hopps and the Missing Jumbo-Pop.
Physical Appearance[]
Lionel is a golden-furred lion with a thick dark red mane. He has a large pink nose and black eyes, as well as a set of large teeth. His outfit consists of a blue striped shirt and dark blue pants.
Role in the Book[]
George Lionel is seen briefly near the beginning of the book as Judy Hopps is riding the train to the ZPD. Judy smiles happily at all of the other passengers, even George, who "complains and complains".
Trivia[]
- George's last name, "Lionel", is a play on his species.
