Gerald Cook is a male pig and a character in Zootopia+. He is the head chef of Rainforest Riviera.
Role in the Show[]
Dinner Rush[]
Gerald works as a chef at a restaurant with Sam. As she tells him about her plans to go to Gazelle's concert later that evening, Gerald admits that he doesn't care. He has Sam deliver the various orders to their corresponding tables. Just as she's getting ready to leave, Flash and Priscilla, two sloths, enter the restaurant, much to Sam's dismay. Gerald taunts her about being unable to finish her shift in time to get to the Gazelle concert and mockingly suggests she hurry.
As Sam is desperately trying to get the couple's order, Gerald, annoyed, calls for Sam to come take the food before it gets cold as the other customers wait impatiently. After Sam gets everyone's orders mixed up, they all call her to their tables, and Gerald rings for her, while she's waiting for Flash to open a bottle of bubbly. Frustrated, Sam snatches the bottle, laments about her predicament, and slams the bottle down on the table, which sends the cork flying around the restaurant, injuring several customers and Gerald.
The customers and Gerald are seeking to vent their frustration on Sam. Fortunately, at that moment, Flash proposes to Priscilla and her gleeful acceptance helps defuse the situation. As the customers go back to their tables, Gerald tells Sam, "Good job, Sam. You're not getting fired yet."
