Joel is a white-tailed deer with light brown fur, a white muzzle and light brown antlers. He wears a light blue, short-sleeved police uniform and dark blue shorts.
Personality[]
Joel is committed to pursuing a better relationship with his partner on the force, Karen, despite Karen’s tendency to be violent with him for the most inconsequential of things.
Role in the film[]
Joel attends Dr. Fuzzby's "Partners in Crisis" group therapy session with Karen. As he and Karen practice greeting each other, Joel smiles at her, which Karen sees as a sign of aggression. This prompts her to attack him, as Dr. Fuzzby scolds her and tries to stop her by spraying her with a water bottle.
