"Judy in the Sky with Dinah" is a comic based on Zootopia. It is featured in the graphic novel Disney Zootopia: Friends to the Rescue. The story takes place in Judy Hopps' childhood.

Plot[]
Judy Hopps, Dinah, and their classmates are talking about the upcoming Bunnyburrow County Fair in the hallway at school. Judy talks excitedly about some of the fair attractions, such as the carrot-flavored funnel cake and a hot air balloon ride. Dinah expresses her excitement, but due to her slow speech pattern, by the time she finishes talking, school is out and everyone has left.
The next day, as Judy is helping her mother wash dishes, she asks for permission to go to the fair. Bonnie agrees, but only if Judy can find an adult to chaperone her. Judy quickly leaves, comes back, and says that Pop-Pop agreed to take her.
The day after, Dinah approaches Judy at school and (slowly) asks if they can go to the fair together. Judy says yes, and suggests she come with her and Pop-Pop. However, when Dinah asks her dad if she can go, he says no.
Later, at the fair, Judy complains to Pop-Pop about Dinah not being allowed to go there with her and says she would slow them down. Pop-Pop then tells Judy that everyone has their own value.
Meanwhile, Dinah sneaks out of her house to go to the fair anyway. Judy and Pop-Pop are having a good time, but then she asks if she can ride the hot air balloon. Pop-Pop declines, to the chagrin of Judy. He leaves Judy to go get candy apples, and while he's gone, Judy notices Dinah sneaking on to the hot air balloon, while the handler's back is turned. The handler drops the ice cream he's enjoying and lets go of the balloon's tether as Dinah and Judy climb aboard.
Everyone at the fair, including Pop-Pop, watch in horror as the balloon starts to fly off with the two young animals. As the balloon goes higher, Judy and Dinah narrowly miss crashing into the Ferris wheel. Judy says they have to pop the balloon, much to the shock of Dinah. Judy swings on the balloon's tether and lands on top. She punctures the balloon by punching a hole in it, and they slowly descend. The deflated hot air balloon lands in a tall tree, and Judy and Dinah climb down. They are soon greeted by their families, who are grateful that the duo are okay. Judy tells Pop-Pop that he was right about everyone having their own value, saying that rabbits are quick, sloths can climb, but neither one should fly.
