London, the capital and most populous city of England and the United Kingdom, is thought to be an inspiration for the city of Zootopia alongside New York City, Shanghai and Barcelona.

Many similarities appear between London and Zootopia. For example, Sahara Square is a reference to Trafalgar Square, as both are home to lions, either statue or alive.
