Mayor Brian Winddancer is a male horse and a supporting character in Zootopia 2. He is a former actor who became the new mayor of Zootopia following the arrests of Mayor Lionheart and Assistant Mayor Bellwether.

Physical Appearance

Winddancer is a tall, muscular horse with light brown fur, a white blaze marking, chest hair, and a pink muzzle. He has a long, flowing blond mane and long feathering on his arms of the same color and texture. He wears a white collared top and a black suit. His eyes are blue.

Personality

Winddancer is very charismatic, but also rather clueless. He dreams of being as much of a hero in real life as the characters he played on his television shows.

Role in the Film

Winddancer was formerly an actor before becoming a politician and being elected mayor.

For the Zootennial, Winddancer unveils a statue of Ebenezer Lynxley, one of the city's founders and the inventor of the climate wall. The statue is promptly destroyed by Antony's van, which careens off a bridge as the result of a car chase initiated by Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde.

He later attends the Zootennial Gala, and screams in terror as Gary De'Snake reveals himself. When Gary escapes with Judy and Nick, Winddancer is pressured by Milton Lynxley to help him capture them.

Trivia

• The mayor succeeding Bellwether was originally going to be a giraffe, who appears in promotional artwork for Zootopia 2.
• Winddancer is the second Disney animated horse to be voiced by Patrick Warburton. The first is Patrick, named for the actor, in Home on the Range in 2004.
