While fan speculation is fine, there is no canon Skye. We have no confirmation that the name on her toolbox belongs to her, and no use for an article about a design that only shows up in concept art that doesn't even interact with any established characters.
I respectfully disagree with you. Fans have asked the directors about the character and have at least confirmed her would-be position in the early draft. Plus, we have a page for Jack Savage's boss and that character has about as much importance as Skye.
Well, there is a tweet where Byron states her role as an Arctic fox mechanic from the Savage Seas movie. Another one, I can't remember which one exactly, says that she works for the same agency as Jack Savage. I also remember a tweet about someone asking if the white fox in the artwork on Finnick's van was Skye, and Byron answered, "No." This was the first time that Byron had acknowledged the fox mechanic and Skye as being the same person, and possibly confirming her name.
Skye is more than just an incidental character. We can at least create a page for her titled, "Fox Mechanic".
If I find any more information and/or evidence, I will let you know.
Someone on Twitter had asked if the white canine on the side of Finnick's van was a reference to her. Byron said it wasn't, but in doing so, he actually confirmed her name is indeed Skye. If it wasn't her name, then he would not have replied or could have asked them what they were talking about.
I couldn't find the tweet where he says that she works for the same agency as Jack Savage,
BUT, I found evidence of Skye appearing in all of the Savage Seas posters.
In one of the concept art pieces, Skye is wearing a wetsuit and holding a fishing spear. More proof that she is indeed a spearfisher is in the poster above. At the top of the poster, there is a fox in the background that is holding a fishing spear.
More on her role, she is seen in another Savage Seas poster, holding a sword. Jack Savage is the bunny on the right, Nick is the fox with the colored tail in the middle, and Skye is the fox on the left. They are all holding weapons to giant beasts in what looks to be a climactic part of the story.
In another photo, it's extremely faint, but we see a fox behind Nick, holding a long sword-like object. I believe this is indeed Skye as she is seen holding a sword in the other photo.
It's pretty safe to say that Skye was definitely a protagonist, and an important part of the early draft.
So, I was thinking about possibly creating a short article page on her. Maybe in a similar format to this article page?
Your picture on you profile is cute. Hope you're feeling okay, I know some of the photos we pick on screen do with several parts of us, enthusiasm enjoyment and more. Keep having fun, you write your appreciation posts quite well Kbwwe21.
