Nick's graduation ceremony is an event held by the ZPD to celebrate the graduation of the recruits from the Zootopia Police Academy in Zootopia.
Role in the Film[]
After Nick Wilde completes his training at the Zootopia Police Academy, another ceremony is held to celebrate him and his fellow graduates.
Onstage, Judy Hopps, now an accomplished officer, gives an inspirational speech about her realization of the complexities of life in the city, but still calls upon her brethen to strive for better. In conclusion, she introduces Nick Wilde as the ZPD's first fox.
Nick walks onstage and Judy presents him with his badge and pins it onto his uniform, then salutes. Nick, after throwing Judy a playful look, salutes in return and the ZPD officers cheer and throw their hats into the air.
