Quilda |
Quilda[1] is a female African crested porcupine and a minor character in Zootopia.
Role in the Film[]

Quilda stands at the crosswalk
Quilda is first seen during the film's first act, when Judy Hopps is attempting to arrest Nick Wilde for his pawpsicle scams. Quilda is standing with the fox and rabbit as they argue at the crosswalk.
As Quilda begins to cross the street, Nick follows in her wake, using her quills as protection from the herd of wildebeest crossing in the other direction with Judy following him.
At the end of the film, Quilda is seen interviewing Mayor Lionheart about the savage mammals. He tells her that while he did imprison the savage mammals, it was with good intentions.
Trivia[]

- The Essential Guide gives Quilda the name "Muriel".
- In the original screenplay, Quilda's role of interviewing Lionheart belonged to a cut character named Kitty Cowlick.
