| Roblox Zootopia Sponsorship |
The Roblox Zootopia Sponsorship was an event on Roblox. The event was themed after Zootopia and ran from the 16th of February to the 12th of March in 2016.
A special game was made for the event that looked like Zootopia. Roblox users were able to obtain Zootopia themed accessories and badges by completing quests in the game or buying them in the Roblox Catalog. The game included locations like Tundratown, The Rainforest District, and Sahara Square. A replica of Jumbeax's Café is included in the game and is relevant in a quest.
Accessories[]
- Elegant Elephant Disguise
- Official Office-Hare Ears
- Beast Headphones
- Zootopia Faux Fox Ears
- Nick's Tie
Quests[]
In order to receive a quest, you had to talk to a Greeter Bear character, dressed as a ZPD officer, who would ask you for help and you could choose a quest. This was necessary to get the Elegant Elephant Disguise, the Official Office-Hare Ears, and the Beast Headphones. The quests were loosely based off the movie.
Get a Jumbo sized Ice Cream![]
After receiving the quest, you were directed to find an Elephant Disguise that spawned randomly throughout the city. After finding this, you were instructed to head over to Jumbeaux's Café. When you got there, you would find Jerry Jumbeaux Jr. standing outside his café. If you talked to him with the disguise, he would give you a free Jumbo Ice Cream for being a fellow Elephant. Then you would get the Elegant Elephant Disguise as your reward along with a badge.
Fight for Justice![]
After receiving the quest, you would be given a license plate to file a report on. You would head over to the DMV and ask Flash to type the license plate number "ZO20P1A" and, he would give you a report. You would then return this report to the Greeter Bear for the Official Office-Hare Ears and a badge.
Build a home![]
After receiving the quest, you could claim a plot in either Tundratown, The Rainforest District, or Sahara Square. After claiming a plot, you were instructed to build a home using at least 10 different objects provided by the game. After placing 10 of these down (presumably building a home) the quest would finish and you would get the Beast Headphones along with a badge.
Businesses[]
The game contained many different businesses. These, while not seen in the movie, likely would have existed in Zootopia considering we only saw a small portion of the city throughout the film. The names were mostly based on animal puns based on names and/or their nature. Some also included some text on the bottom, either to add to the name, or describe what their business was. They included:
- Fox's Boxes
- Squirrel Storage (Only a 75% chance of losing your stuff!)
- Catscratch Post (Mail & Delivery service)
- Alpaca Your Suitcases (Travel Agency)
- Milli's Shoe Store (We sell 1000's of shoes!)
- Elephant-You Flowers (Well sell Forget-me-nots!)

Trivia[]
- The game is still open today now known as Explore the City & Build. However, everything Zootopia related is now gone, including in game ads and characters. You cannot get any of the badges or items from the event, but users who acquired them during the event can still wear the accessories.
- The Zootopia Faux Fox Ears and Nick's Tie could both be purchased for 1 ticket each.
- Originally, there were going to be companions that followed you around as you completed the event. You could choose between a Judy Companion, a Flash Companion, and a Nick companion, but were cancelled due to unknown reasons.
- The event was generally well received among the Roblox community due to its ingenuity, well thought out design, and it being different from most other events at the time.
- The names of the two generic office corporations (Short and Snout & Big and Tall), are in reference to the size of the building they're situated in.
- In the "Build a home!" quest, you didn't actually have to build a home, you only had to place down 10 objects and the quest would finish.
