Shanghai (上海) is the most populous city in China and one of the most populous cities in the world. It served as inspiration for the city of Zootopia[1] alongside New York City, and Barcelona.
A Zootopia-themed area in Shanghai Disneyland was planned in 2019 and opened on December 20, 2023.
