Trudy "Tru Tru" is a female arctic shrew and a character in Zootopia+. She is Fru Fru's cousin and a member of the Big family. She guest stars in The Real Rodents of Little Rodentia.
Physical Appearance[]
Tru Tru is a shrew with tan fur and brown eyes. She wears a light pink dress covered in pink geometric patterns with a fuchsia ribbon around the waist. In addition, she wears purple eyeshadow, a gold bracelet on her right arm, and a pink flower in her hair - this hair is a black bouffant hairstyle with red streaks that is nearly as tall as herself.
Personality[]
Tru Tru brims with confidence, but she also comes across as intrusive and domineering to the point where Fru Fru and most of her friends initially detest her presence. This seems, however, to partly stem from her love for Fru Fru and her assumption that she's helping her do everything exactly how she wants. Fru Fru also notes her knack for remembering small details.
Role in the Show[]
The Real Rodents of Little Rodentia[]
Recently engaged, Fru Fru and her friends are preparing for the former's wedding. As she is trying to decide who her maid of honor is going to be, her cousin Trudy, going by Tru Tru, arrives and disrupts everything. It turns out that Fru Fru had promised her to be her maid of honor since they were children, but she has a habit of being very controlling. She even goes as far as to attempt to change the decorations, seating arrangements, and guest list. While she's busy giving her ideas, Fru Fru and her friends sneak off to Klawfeld's.
Later, Tru Tru arrives and is about to reveal the dress she got, but Fru Fru angrily tells her that she ruins everything and they get into a fight with one another, resulting in Tru Tru storming off. Fru Fru continues to go shopping when she is nearly crushed by a large donut, only to be saved by Judy Hopps. This puts her life in perspective and she goes and makes up with Tru Tru, who reveals that the wedding dress she got for her was the one that belonged to her mother on her wedding night. Tru Tru reveals that she made one more change: having the bouquet be made of night howlers.
On the night of the wedding, Fru Fru throws the bouquet and Tru Tru catches it causing a blue mist to emerge that she and the bridesmaids inhale deeply and immediately become savage plunging the reception into chaos. The last scene shows Tru Tru diving towards Fru Fru as it cuts to black.
