Black History Month recognizes, celebrates and honors the achievements of Black citizens throughout history and in present day. While it originated in the United States, it is also observed by nations all around the world, such as Belgium, Canada, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom (European countries celebrate it in October)!
