Hello, my fellow Zootopians! Prepare to get Z.A.P.ped! It's time for this week's edition of the Zootopia Appreciation Post, or Z.A.P. for short. Every Saturday, I'm gonna be posting a different Zootopia-related topic that we can all discuss.
For today's topic, I would like to talk about Nick Wilde's cameo in Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck It Ralph 2.
Once again, apologies for not doing this on Saturday.
Anyway, this is what I wanted to talk about:
Well, well, well. What do we have here? Disney actually acknowledging Zootopia's existence? It would appear so!
As many of you know, Rich Moore, one of the directors of the film this Wiki is devoted to, is directing WIR2. As usual, the Disney film will feature many Easter eggs and references to Disney films, past and future.
Now, when I first heard that Rich would be the director, I was hoping that there would be a Zootopia Easter egg somewhere. Imagine my surprise when I saw the latest trailer and saw the above scene! I said to myself, "This is better than an Easter egg, it's a cameo!"
That's right! Our favorite con artist fox turned rookie police officer makes an appearance in WIR2! Amazing! And that's not all! On Twitter, I found out that Judy Hopps will make an appearance too! I'm so excited! Zootopia is finally getting the recognition it deserves!
