Hello, my fellow Zootopians! Prepare to get Z.A.P.ped! It's time for this week's edition of the Zootopia Appreciation Post, or Z.A.P. for short. Every Saturday, I'm gonna be posting a different Zootopia-related topic that we can all discuss.
For today's topic, I would like to talk about Gary the snake.
First off, we finally get to see a new character from the sequel and it’s a snake?! I didn’t think we’d see reptiles in the world of Zootopia! The directors said in a few interviews that they wanted to include other non-mammalian animals in the franchise, such as reptiles, and now we have one! 🐍
Gary is a male blue viper in Zootopia 2. He is described as a “creepy, slithery, highly venomous viper.”
Judy and Nick find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile, Gary, who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before.
Gary will be so far the first reptile seen in the world of Zootopia.
Gary seems like an interesting character, so I’m excited to see him in the sequel!
