Vern is a male cheetah in Room Service. He is a bellhop who works at the Palm Hotel.
Role in the Comic[]
Vern works at the Palm Hotel, which has been his dream since he was a cub. He awaits the end of the night, when he will be presented with a plaque to commemorate him going an entire year without receiving a customer complaint.
Colby asks him about the whereabouts of a fedora that an armadillo lost, and Vern says he will bring it to the armadillo after he delivers a dandelion salad.
As he brings a goat his salad, he realizes he brought him the fedora instead, which the goat decides to eat. Vern then says he supposes there is always next year to earn the plaque.
